Where Architecture Meets
the Horizon

The Vista Villa exists at the intersection of the elemental: earth, sky, water, and stone.

The clifftop site presented both a challenge and a gift. The challenge: to anchor a building on land that falls away dramatically to the sea below. The gift: a panorama that cannot be improved upon.

Our response was to create a building that appears to hover — cantilevering over the edge of the site in a gesture of architectural confidence.
